Alex Corser is dedicated to supporting families in Welwyn Garden City.

Alex is the only osteopath in the country to hold the three specialisms of being; a lactation consultant, specialist paediatric osteopath and women's health practitioner, these skills give her a unique insight in supporting families from pregnancy onwards. She tends to use gentle approaches including cranial osteopathy, massage and gentle articulation.

She is  highly specialised and considered an expert in the treatment of young babies and children and she is highly regarded in this field across her profession. However, she is experienced and enjoys treating all ages and she is skilled in managing incredibly complex presentations.

3 days a week she works within the NHS at Chase Farm Hospital. She works within the Pain Management Service working with people who have long term pain that have limited or no treatment options.

Prior to her working at Garden City Osteopathy Alex was the director of a large multi-disciplinary practice known as The Penn Clinic. She took a step back from this in 2025 due to her NHS and family commitments.

Alex qualified from the European School of Osteopathy and holds a Masters degree in Osteopathy. Alex is passionate about reducing delay to diagnosis and is well-known for her ability to diagnose complex conditions, manage them and reduce symptoms quickly.

Alex is also a passionate researcher and believes it should under-pin every clinicians' clinical reasoning. She has published research articles in the International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine on topics that include: inflammatory arthritis and accessibility in healthcare education

Alongside treating patients as a registered Osteopath.  Alex also teaches postgraduate osteopaths. The topics she covers are: Inflammatory Arthritis, Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (including Ehlers Danlos), Paediatric Pathology and Clinical reasoning.
